GMAT Studying

Ahh, it's been just two weeks that I set up the blog and already I'm failing at keeping up with my goal of posting twice a week. In all fairness, I didn't expect to post twice a week until after I was done with the test, which I'll be taking in early June. However, since all I can think about is the test, I figured I'd write a little bit about it.

I've been studying for the GMAT since December 2013, in the hopes that I can be as prepared as possible for the real thing. The goal was to get 700, but after all this studying, I think 700 would leave me beyond ecstatic. But I just don't see it happening. Of course, the test score isn't the only thing that schools look at, nor the most important, so I'm hoping that even a decent score will still allow me to go to a top school.

I haven't really settled on where I want to apply yet, because I didn't want to get my hopes up by falling in love with a school that I wouldn't be able to apply to due to the test score. Still, I have to say that both Stanford and Duke keep popping into my head. Give me a few weeks and we'll see if that's still realistic. Until then, my goal will be one post a week, just to get into the habit!
