Sunday Round Up

This was a full week! I've been getting better at remembering to save any interesting articles in my blog as I go through the week, so I have lots to share this Sunday. I've also been getting really into Pinterest, so there are just more opportunities to find interesting articles as my feed is customized for me. So let's jump right in!

Pitch Perfect

I finally got around to watching Pitch Perfect and I am now obsessed with the music! It was really frustrating listening to the soundtrack though, because it was recorded off the movie, so it actually sounds different. I also looked for a playlist on YouTube that just had the clips from the movie but none included all the songs. So, I just made my own. It was surprisingly easy.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Following the movie theme, I have been counting down the days to Age of Ultron coming out! But if I can geek out even more, this article is just awesome. It's pretty long, but reading about Captain America and Thor through a physicist's eyes is just awesome.

When computers become smarter than us

And again with the theme of futuristic movies, a recent TED Talk about what would happen and whether we should be concerned with creating computers that are smarter than us without the same humanitarian values.

Love letters

Hannah Brencher started The World Needs More Love Letters after moving to New York and feeling alone in such a gigantic city. I couldn't agree with her more though. In today's world where trolls and the veil of social media lead people to depression and suicide, a simple act of kindness can make a world of difference.

How to fall asleep in 60 seconds

I thought this was an incredible trick. I tried it last night and fell asleep during my second set. But I was also just straight up tired, so I'll have to remember to try it again on those nights that I just can't seem to stay still long enough to fall asleep.

An incredible friendship

If more people in the world had more people who cared about one another such as these two friends and these other two, I can't imagine how we wouldn't be better off.

And last but not least, I figured I'd create a doggy section since a good part of my articles are from BarkPost.

Doggies

Experiences before turning 5
I'm happy to say that Zoey has accomplished all experiences a pup should go through before turning 5!

Being inseparable
It is difficult having a dog and a thriving social life. I've definitely cut back on going out simply because I feel bad leaving Zoey alone at night after I've already been away at work all day. But I was still a bit surprised to see that I fit 17 of the 24 signs of being inseparable! Not sure that's really a bad thing though :)

How to tell what your dog is thinking
dog's tail wag or lack thereof can actually tell us a lot!

And some more adorable puppies herehereherehereherehere, and here.
