BarkBox - April Review
I (and Zoey) loved this box!! Even though it actually had less items than I typically get, we were both excited by every single one. And for once, there was no chew stick in the box, which is awesome since I always give those away. I wonder if they knew it was Zoey's birthday this month??
There were four items in April's BarkBox: 2 toys, 1 treat bag, and 1 chew stick. The theme for the month was Spring Break.
As all subscription boxes, BarkBox included a card with descriptions of all items in the box. There were four items in this month's box.
Squeaki Tiki - value $8
Zoey really liked this toy, and the squeaker isn't super loud, which I appreciate. It's nice and long, but thin enough that she can actually hold it in her mouth and still have the toy sticking out both sides so I can grab it for tug of war.
Flowers Bouquet - value $14
This was my favorite by far (and Zoey's)! It is just such a neat idea. There are four flowers wrapped in a "newspaper". The newspaper has velcro, so I took it away since I knew Zoey would try to chew it off. When not wrapped in the newspaper, the flowers come apart, so it's really 4 toys! Zoey likes all four, so it's fun just throwing them in the air and watch her go in a circle trying to figure out which one she should get.
Yak Chew - value $9
This is the same brand as the nuggets that we got in the last box. However, those nuggets required microwaving and cooling off to expand and then giving to your dog. This one doesn't have any instructions, even though it looks the exact same as the nuggets, so I'm a bit confused as to whether I can just hand it over to Zoey as a chew stick.
Simply Lamb - value $7
Since I still have so many treat bags from previous boxes, I haven't opened this one. But Zoey tends to like lamb, so I don't think we'll have a problem with this bag.
Verdict: We loved this box! The flowers bouquet alone totally made it worth it to me, but the fact that I like all the products, at a total value of $38 just makes it even better. Clearly, Zoey doesn't care about the other items though, just one of the flowers will do.
