BarkBox - March

I'm not sure how Zoey just knows when the box I'm holding is a BarkBox. I've gotten numerous packages in the mail this month and she doesn't even look at them. But when I brought the BarkBox in, she was jumping up all around me. Apparently the treats in the box smelled amazing this month.

There were six items in March's BarkBox: 3 toys, 2 treat bags, and 1 chew stick.

As all subscription boxes, BarkBox included a card with descriptions of all items in the box. There were five items in this month's box.

Squeeki Skull  - value $6

Zoey really liked this toy, and it's not very loud when it squeaks. However, because it's rubber and has edges, she quickly found a way to bite chunks off it, so the skull no longer has a chin.

Pawpcorn - value $10

Zoey absolutely loved this thing. When I first took it out of the box, I thought it'd be a goner within a couple of minutes. The body of it (the cup) has a texture to it and sounds like plastic, while the top (the popcorn) feels like cotton. It has done surprisingly well for Zoey, since she thrashes all around the living room with it. It's still standing in one piece, although with some obvious teeth holes in the cup.

Toasted Coconut Bitz - value $7

These treats are pretty tiny. They're essentially training treats, not cookies. Regardless, I think this was the reason Zoey was hopping around me when I brought the box in. She absolutely loved these treats, which didn't surprise me, since she loves just about all goodies from etta says!

Golden Nuggets - value $10 (?)

This item is currently sold out on BarkShop, which I'd never seen before! I was a little unsure about giving this to Zoey, since it seemed like such a different treat. I thought about it for a couple of days but then figured I could at least let her try a small piece of it. Just opening the package resulted in a bruise on my thigh from her launching herself at me. I found the smallest piece in the bag and microwaved it for a minute, letting it cool for about 10 minutes after (probably an overkill). It does puff up to about twice its size, and is slightly hard to bite into. It took Zoey about 7 minutes to eat it all, and clean up all the crumbs on the carpet, but she really liked it! Since she didn't seem to get an upset stomach in the following days, and there are only three ingredients (!) to it, I think she'll be getting a couple more soon.

Crunchy Buffalo Chews - value $4

As always, a chew stick made it in the box and has already been donated at Petco.

AND SURPRISE!!!

Message in a Bottle - value $13

I'm so glad we got this extra toy, Zoey absolutely loves playing with this bottle. It does have a very loud squeaker though, so it's a daytime toy only. It's a really awesome design too, and easy to clean!

Verdict:

I'm really happy with this month's box. Zoey loved all the toys and treats, with nothing being destroyed right away. At a value of $50, I think it more than paid for itself!
